Septic Alternative Low Flush Toilets

Sorry, your browser doesn't support Java(tm). Why use a pail of water to
flush when a cup will do?

Septic Alternative Pail vs. Cup Equaris Corporation, married its system with the stylish one-cup-of-water-per-flush, or less, porcelain toilet fixtures from SeaLand. With these classy toilets, you will be willing to accept a new type of wastewater treatment system in your home; they are beautiful, efficient and clean. "They look like traditional toilets, but can be filled with more water when its time to pooh," Equaris President Clint Elston said."The toilets reduce a home's water usage by 40 to 80 percent. Instead of using a bucket of water to flush you now only need a teaspoon or cup of water."

SeaLand Toilets

SeaLand, an Ohio based company, manufactures a large line of toilet fixtures that are designed for recreational vehicles and the luxury marine vessel marketplace.  These ceramic toilet fixtures are available in a wide range of color options. All SeaLand toilets are extremely water efficient using less than one pint of water per flush.

Vacuum Operation
This toilet system utilizes small diameter piping and can be remotely installed up to 20 feet away from the BMRC. The toilet can even be located below the level or the BMRC and use the powerful vacuum pressure to lift the flush water into the BMRC. VacuFlush toilets use only 4-6 amps per flush. These toilets utilize a foot-pedal-operated flushing mechanism that rotates a ball/trap device.  The toilet pedal can also be lifted with the foot, allowing more water into the toilet bowl, totally eliminating any toilet staining problems usually associated with low water flushing toilets.

Gravity Operation
This toilet system is designed to mount on a floor flange and discharge 2A 3" PVC or ABS pipe plumbed at a 25 degree from horizontal angle or greater to the BMRC.

SeaLand toilet fixtures have been installed with Equaris Systems for more than five years and have provided Equaris Corporation, with a socially acceptable toilet fixture that is economical and "Made in America."
